Why do you ask? I want DAQ Assistant and I don't get it with LabVIEW 2019. Even NI DAQmx is missing. I have also tried to reinstall Drivers DVD 19.1. Maybe I have to wait for the next DVD?
Just curious as you were adamant that you need it for that purpose. You never mentioned before that DAQmx is missing.
Bob has already told you that the dreaded DAQ Assistant is included in LabVIEW 2019 on his installation, so there must be a problem with your installation. Bob asked you to post a screenshot of your Software tab in MAX.
I would personally drop back, uninstall LabVIEW 2019 and start from the beginning. I suspect that there's something that went awry with your installation.

Hello,
It took me a couple of days to install LV 2019 properly, using the Package Manager in order to have the DAQ assistant available for the myDAQ.
I made this manual for my students.
It might help you...
The two additional items mentioned in the manual turned out to be essential for the DAQ Assistant!
Kind regards,
André Sasburg.

For reasons that are too sad to go into, I recently (the day before yesterday) removed all NI Software from this laptop (running Windows 10 x64, Version 1803) and reinstalled LabVIEW 2016, 2018, and 2019, using the Drivers downloaded from NI's Software Download site. I installed DAQmx, 488.2 (because it insisted), VISA, PXI Platform Services, and IMAQdx. Here's the list of Software from MAX, the Measurement I/O Palette (showing DAQmx), and the DAQmx Palette (showing the DDA in the lower left hand corner). If you are still having difficulties, why don't you post similar shots of your system so we can "get a clue" ...

P.S. -- I failed to notice I was replying to a three-month-old post. However, I am describing a recent "fresh install" that got me the DAQ Assistant with no difficulty. I also see another user has recently posted some "tricks" when dealing with LabVIEW 2019, the most difficult version to install I have dealt with since LabVIEW 2011 ...

You either installed DAQmx before installing LabVIEW or you unchecked 2019 support.
To make life easier, why don't we skip the 20 questions. Go install the 2019 version of DAQmx. For each page of the installation window, take a screenshot of all the options and post it here.
When we see the thing you have unchecked, we'll point you towards how to fix what you're running into.

I tried to install LabVIEW 2019 on my Windows pad. It has limited disk capacity, so I didn't want more than necessary to run some DAQ VIs. I selected LabVIEW and DAQmx, but skipped all the optional stuff the installer suggested. But then DAQmx was not installed, or at least not working. I could find out what of the optional stuff that is needed, but it was easier to go back to LV-18.

Did you actually try installing DAQmx, or just the run-time of DAQmx?

In NI Package Manager, I selected:
PROGRAMMING ENVIRONMENTS
[v] LabVIEW (64-bit) English 2019
DRIVERS
[v] NI-DAQmx 19.0.0
[v] NI-VISA 19.0.0
[v] NI-Serial 19.0.0
After clicking [ Next ], Package Manager suggested a lot of extra stuff to be installed. I deselected all.
I assumed NI-DAQmx would be installed by this. But it didn't.

Among the things you didn't install (in the Additional Items) were NI-DAQmx Runtime with Configuration Support and NI-DAQmx Support for LabVIEW 2019.
While I agree that NIPM is disorganized and User-Hostile, if something isn't working, then you might "slow down" and actually look at (and think about) what you are doing. Try once more, this time installing the Additional Items that are needed for DAQmx to function!

Why did you install 64-bit LabVIEW?
32-bit is much more common, and 64-bit is more for applications that have huge data requirements.
Since you installed 64-bit LabVIEW, did you install the 64-bit version of DAQmx and VISA and all? Or did you happen to pick 32-bit?
