DAQ Assistant does not support USB-9215

Hello

It appears that DAQ Assistant does not support USB-9215.

It just reports - no physical properties!

You need to download and install the DAQms Base Driver to use the 9215.

This extra driver has a separate NI MAX utility to configure it.

If you've done this, not sure what to tell you. The DAQ Assitant may not support the 92xx series, I've never tried it and I don't have one on hand right now to try it.

Hi,

Currently the 92xx driver series are not supported with the full DAQmx driver, you need to use the DAQmx Base driver as previously posted. See the link below for resourses on how to program with the driver and other resourses:
http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/14480

It is also worth noting that the DAQ assistant does not support NI-DAQmx Base devices.

Kind Regards

Could someone please tell me where do i get the subvis  for analog input using USB-9215 .

I have preveously used  NI-Multifuction cards in M series which used to provide subvis for ai & ao.

I am not able to locate those in for USB-9215.

What version of DAQmx are you using? Version 8 supports the 9215 and you use the same functions as you would use for the M series board. If you have to use DAQmx base because your OS doesn't support DAQmx, then the functions you need are included with the driver. They are named similar with a "Base" suffix.
