DAQ Assistant doesn't give me any triggering options

Once I set up my DAQ Assistant for my DAQ card and channel, I double click the assistnat and go to the triggering menu to set the triggering but all the options are greyed out. I'm using an NI 9215 DAQ card.

That does not surprise me.  There are no means to trigger those devices.  You are either sampling or not
