Hi there,
is there anybody experienced in using
a PCI/DSP4 from Physical Acoustics?

Hello;

Are you trying to use a NI DAQ board in conhunction with the PCI/DSP?
If that is the case, could you provide us more information about that hardware?

A Labview application on one computer
controls the experiment and the PCI/DISP-4-board
(which gathers the information) is located at another one.
I have to stop the experiment if the signal rises above a certain level.
The software of the DISP-board
doesnt provide TCP/IP connectivity, so my idea
was to read out the board with Labview.
Are there probably predefined modules?

Hi Mario Sikora,

Have you succeeded in doing so?

I have almost similar requirements. I would like to control the PCI/DSP4 card and customize my acoustic applications using LabVIEW. I went through PAC's website and find out that there are a LabVIEW and Windows DLL drivers for it (http://www.pacndt.com/index.aspx?go=products&focus=/multichannel/disp.htm). However, when I contact PAC's local agent here (Malaysia), they told me to look elsewhere!!! Does anybody know where can I get this driver from?

Also, has anybody succeed in doing this before?

Thanks.

Hi Lan,

This thread is a bit old, so I am not sure if the original poster will ever see this.  I did do some searching, and I think I came across the same link as you did on the PAC site, that explictly says for LabVIEW drivers to contact them.  I was unable to locate the drivers myself.  I would suggest contacting them again, and let them know their website says they have them.

If find anything here, I will be sure to let you know.
