When trying to open some examples to use the TC01, labview tries to find these files but can't find them:
DAQmx Read (Analog DBL 1Chan Samp).vi
DAQmx Create Channel (AI-Temperature-Thermocouple).vi
DAQmx Create Virtual Channel.vi
DAQmx Clear Task
DAQmx Read.vi
I don't seem to have those files on my disk.
I already installed, uninstalled, reinstalled both labview (2011LV-WinEng.exe) and the DAQ drivers (NIDAQ930f2.exe).
Solved! Go to Solution.

Did you make sure that Application Development Support was selected during the installation? You should re-run the installer and verify that it's installing the required libraries for LabVIEW.

(.3 does not support 2011. Install 9.4.

That would certainly do it. For some reason I was under the impression that 9.3 supported 2011. Too many version numbers.

I have a similar issue, but with Labview 8.5.1. Trying to open one of my old programs (which runs fine on an evaluation version of LabView 2011), but I get the same problem with LV searching for these VI's, but can't find them on disk. I installed 8.5.1 from disk 1, but don't have disk 2. Could this be the source of the problem? If so how do I fix it? Any help is appreciated.
Also, I've installed DAQmx 9.4. As far as I know, everything is up to date.

As shown here, the last version that supported LabVIEW 8.5 was DAQmx 9.3. This would also be listed in the 9.4 readme.

I'm having a similar issue. I have LabVIEW 2010 installed with DAQmx 9.5. I developed on one computer and all my DAQmx files worked fine. Then I moved to a second computer and had just the DAQmx 9.5 drivers and the labview runtime engine installed. My program did not run with that so I installed full labview and it still would not run and I saw that it did not find the DAQmx vi files. I then uninstalled DAQmx and reinstalled it but it still did not find the vi files. I'm hoping to avoid uninstalling everything, does anyone have any ideas about this?
Both computers are Windows 7 x64. Thanks

Hi trije,
In this case I’m afraid that the best you can do is uninstall all NI products, clear the registry (you can use the free tool CCleaner) and then reinstall your Run Time engine (compatible with the LV Developer version that you have) and in the end the DAQmx drivers.

I try to open this file slinger-logger.vi [see attachment], but I can't open it, because it is missing files such as DAQmx Clear task.vi
I already tried to install several versions of DAQmx (14.1, 9.9, 9.4):

But I couldn't get the file working without those missing vi errors. Can anyone get this file working in Labview 2013? Or Labview 2012?
