DAQmx Analog Input Read number of samples

When I setup an Analog Input DAQmx task in MAX to aquire sample continuously at a particular rate, there has always been an option "Samples to Read."  Yet, this is an input for the "Analog 1D Wfm NChan NSamp" version of the DAQmx Read VI.  Is there anyway to pull this "Samples to Read" parameter from the MAX task and supply it as input to the DAQmx Read Vi?

Hi Nickerbocker,

The settings you are referring to in MAX are the Timing Settings, which replace the Sample Timing VI in DAQmx Code.  There are no additional steps needed to extract these parameters from MAX.  Take a look at this community example.
