DAQmx Physical Channel datatype

Dear friends,
                   Can you please help me out make a fundamental link for USB 6221 from Labview ? I just want to first read data from and write data into Analog intputs and outputs respectively. What data type can I use to connect to a DAQmx Physical Channel in the block diagram for test ?

You should soend some time with the LabVIEW example VIs for DAQmx.  They have VIs covering Analog inputs and outputs and will be compatible with your 6221.  These will show you how to use the DAQmx palette and may even serve as the basis of your own DAQ VIs.

Matthew is correct. There are many different LabVIEW examples for DAQmx. To see these goto Help » Find Examples in LabVIEW. You will see a list of folders. Next, browse to Hardware Input and Output » DAQmx. The Analog Generation folder has many examples for writing to an analog output and the Analog Measurements folder has many example for reading an analog input. For example, the Acq&Graph Voltage-Int Clk.vi in Analog Measurements » Voltage would be a simple example to read and graph an analog input.

It sounds like you are new to DAQ programming. You may want to have a look at the tutorial linked below. It should be very helpful and serve as a great starting point.
