DAQmx - merging device name and channel names ?

Hi again,

I have now a problem which seems related to the strings I concatenate to form channel names.

When I execute my VI for the first time after starting labview, I get the error 88717 (device name string empty). The problem generally goes away when I put probes on the wires with the channel names.

Any clue to avoid this ?

I found my problem.

I was using property nodes to get the vale of the device name string.

I used wires instead, and everything is fine.
