DAQmx port configuration

Hi,

My question is on port configuration.

I am using USB-6509 and SCB-100

I usually get an error if I configure Port 3 Line X as input and Port 3 Line Y as output.

Can a single port with different lines can be configured as different types (input or output ) ?

Hi VikashKumar23, 

From the USB-6509 manual on Page 12 it also says "You can configure the direction as input or output on a per-port basis." so I'd imagine not. 

If you wanted to investigate further you can look in to the KB All Lines in Port Set to Input or Output but you may need a change of hardware!
