Please see the NI Biomedical Starter Kit, a free download on NI Labs here: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-12646
This starter kit has a file format converter that allows you to easily convert from many popular file formats (including the MIT Physionet database format) used in the biosciences into a format easily manipulated in LabVIEW.
Also - support for the Biomedical Starter Kit is provided on the Biomedical User Group - please join our group!
Thanks,
Steve

You or your teacher don't understand at all. The toolkit is written in LabVIEW which will read the .dat file, convert it to LabVIEW format, and display it. What part is difficult to understand?
