DSC : bad quality on remote OPC item

I am using LabVIEW DSC 8.0.1.

I added an I/O server within my projet. This I/O server is connected to a remote OPC server.

DCOM is well configured since :

 > I get a good quality status when monitoring items in an OPC client

 > I get a good quality status when binding directly on the remote OPC server

When binding a variable to the I/O server, I can select any item (the remote OPC server starts).

When deploying all libraries or running a simple VI with this variable as indicator, the remote OPC doesn't start and I get a bad quality status.

I tried to do the same with DAQmx OPC and an NI board, I have the same results.

Did anybody success using I/O server connected to remote OPC server ?

I think it is not exactly the same problem.

In fact I posted this message before opening support request #358854 on which you have been working.
Could you add a comment (expected solution) for other users who are may be facing the same problem... ?

Hello,

As workaroud for this problem, you can use the Data Socket to get the value and quality from the OPC Server.

This is a known issue for National Instruments that will be fixed on the next version of LabVIEW DSC 8.20
