DSC chemical analysis demo

Hi Everyone

I'm tying to find a cool little demo that used to ship with the DSC. I'm using the DSC with LabVIEW 7.1 and I remember a couple of years ago playing with a neat little demo that showed a beaker connected to some peristaltic pumps. There also used to be a very neat one with a little robot arm that would move boxes around.

Actually you can see that NI still use these demos on the DSC documentation as they are such nice HMI's

http://www.ni.com/pdf/products/us/4msw60-61.pdf

But I just cannot find them in my example browser or on the NI site, they are too good to let them dissolve into oblivion, someone put a lot of work into them, they are works of art.

I would appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction where I could find them.

In LVDSC 6.1, that screen with the peristaltic pumps was part of the 'Chemical Reactor' demo/example.

The actual vi was:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 6.1\examples\lvdsc\apps\Chemical reactor\SubVIs.llb\Chemical reactor - HMI control.vi

If it really has disappeared in later versions, I can post it if you'd like.

 Hi Donald

Yeah it looks like they have gone, that's a real shame, they are beautiful examples of well structured HMI's

I would appreciate it very much if you could zip and post the top level vi and the type def controls on the HMI.

Is the little robot handler example there as well?

Cheers

Kurt
