The 2010 version of the DSM (Distributed System Manager) has some nice new features (historical graph windows data scroll bars!) and also some bugs.
It appears that the plot legend text has been changed from left to right justified. I suppose that this was done to allow the data field to be aligned at the right edge?
This new feature has a bug in it that causes the text field to be truncated when you first create an historical chart window (see attachment). The only way to fix it is
to close and reopen the DSM. Personally, I am not really sold on the right justification anyway. I think I would prefer something that would actually separate the
text and numeric fields entirely so that the text could be left justified and the numeric fields aligned to the right. Or maybe even replace the plot legend with a tree that
would allow you to display additional data such as the plot axis the trace is associated with.

sachsm:
Just a quick question: what happens when you scroll the legend to the left? Mine appeared truncated, but it starts all the way to the right, and can appear trim the text on startup (until you scroll).
I'll do some more testing to try to replicate this, but I just wanted to get that out of the way and make sure we're seeing different things.
Thanks!

Yes, I think you are correct. I did not try to move the scroll bar, it does work as you say.
