Thanks for pointing out this inconsistency, InfinteNothing.  In response to your post, I contacted the person responsible for the NI Vision Development Module help about the issue. GregS-- we certainly do want the Help to be correct and helpful.  If you ever notice incorrect or insufficient documentation, you can click the Submit feedback on this topic link at the bottom of most LabVIEW Help topics to let us know about it. Similar functionality for providing feedback exists at the bottom of help topics on ni.com as well.

Why not give Kudos to the following idea that gives us a visual indication of whether or not the primitive will run ?  After all. LabVIEW programmers love their info to be in graphics more than text right ?
