Cool LabVIEW 2010 Features Part VIII: Labels on Wires
This is a feature that's been on many users' short lists for years, and now we finally have it:
In LabVIEW 2010, you can now show a label on a wire. This is much better than our old trick of using a free label on the wire, since the owned label in LabVIEW 2010 will follow the wire around when it moves, just like the owned labels of controls, structures, functions, etc.
This is yet another LabVIEW 2010 feature that was a direct result of user feedback through the LabVIEW Idea Exchange. So if you have ideas on how to improve LabVIEW, make sure to post them there...who knows, your great idea might be the big new feature in the next LabVIEW release!

This is probably a good place to post a reminder to those who don't know:
When you create a Sub-VI (Edit > Create Sub-VI) where the wires going into / out of the Sub-VI have wire lables, the inputs / outputs will take on the label of the wire and not the label of the terminals (controls or indicator).
Note here, my control is 'Boolean 2", and my indicator is "Result 2", but the VI has taken on the name "Input" and (not shown) "Output".

Good for my vi documentation.
Thanks Darren for the Nugget.
