Database Connectivity Toolkit

It seems this add-ons toolkit is available to allow database connection. I wonder if it has an evaluation version or it has to be purchased? can the toolkit allow me to automate my FTP process?

As far as I know, there is no evaluation version of the DBT. If you need to connect to a database, don't want to spend any money, and are familiar with SQL, there is the free LabSQL available from Jeffrey Travis. However, I'm not sure what kind of relationship a database tool has to do with FTP. FTP is normally used for file transfers. NI does have the Internet toolkit that has FTP functions.

Just to confirm, there is no evaluation version of the Database Connectivity Toolkit. In order to get it, you must purchase the add-on through your sales representative or local sales engineer. For FTP transfers, you should look into the Internet Toolkit, which is also an extra purchase. If you are interested in finding out more about the capabilities of these toolkits before you purchase them, I would contact your local field sales engineer to see if you can set up a time to meet with him and he can demo some things for you.
