Definition of Testing Types for CLD-R

CDuck_0-1636492563256.png

I see that the answer for this question is C.) Stress Testing

However I don't understand why it is not a Performance Test.  Does National Instruments have official definitions for these?

Also if anyone knows where the common place for people to discuss these CLD-R practice problems is, that would be much appreciated!

I'd say it's a stress test because it is running it over and over as quickly as possible.  They aren't really interested in anything else but the results.  Time is only kept track of to tell the test when to end.

To make an analogous question... is the shape of that While Loop

a. Trapezoid

b. Square

c. Rectangle

d. Quadrilateral

Performance testing is a general term that encompasses all sorts of 'more specific' testing.

I hate to be that guy, but that's kind of a silly 'gotcha' question IMO.

I have no idea what drives their obsession with test methods.

Yeah I think everyone that goes through this CLD-R loses their mind a little bit.  Especially the more independent, self researching thinkers 😩 Luckily I fall somewhere in-between following standards and independent thinking, so I'm only going half insane 😂
