Delay in Tag Response with Allen Bradley PLC ( SLC 5 / 05 )

Hi

I have interfaced my PLC via (Ip) with OPC server 4.5.1 using labview 7.0, I find that tag response for both read & write response is delayed almost by 1 min or 2 min most of the time, Previously the same was working fine with labview 6.1 after upgrading this to L.V 7.0 iam having this problem , tried loading the 6.1 engine along wtih 7.0, but still the problem presists, could u plz give me some ideas to resolve the issue.

Hi Suresh,

Are you using Windows XP? If so, you might check out the following KnowledgeBase on improving tag engine performance in LabVIEW 7.0:

Also, it sounds like you are using the Industrial Automation OPC Server with DSC. Is this the case? Make sure you have installed the most up-to-date LabVIEW DSC 7.0 fix, which may be downloaded from ni.com>>Drivers and Updates:
