Developer walkthrough fails on Continuous MEasurment and Logging

I am having problems watching these two videos:

Developer Walkthrough of the Continuous Measurement and Logging Sample Project

http://www.ni.com/video/2741/en/

Developer Walkthrough of the Continuous Measurement and Logging Sample Project

Queued Message Handler Template Documentation

http://www.ni.com/video/2728/en/

It gets stuck at the start saying Slide 1/1: Buffering.

I have downloaded the latest Adobe flash.  A guy from NI support rang in response to my question to them and said that it worked on Chrome for him.  I tried that and they don't work for me.

Can anyone help?

I went to both of those pages and couldn't get a  video to start.  The link to start the video just led back to the same page.

Both of them worked fine for me (at home, outside of NI's network).

I'm at home (using IE9 on Win7).

The webpage looks like the attachment when I hover over the View Now link.  Check the hyperlink address at the bottom of the window.  Clicking it just reloads the webpage.

I just arrived home and tried it on my home computer. Windows 7 IE11 and it started with a few words and then stalled, buffering.

I see the same hyperlink preview that you do, but clicking it starts the video. I watched for a few minutes and had no buffering issues. I have no idea why it would act differently for y'all.

I think you should all state the web browser you were using.

I see IE 9, IE 11 and Chrome (version?) here.

Anyone tried with Firefox? Other like Opera?

Also, you might check your Firewall and AntiVirus Software settings as well as security settings of the browser.

I think the videos require Flash, but am not sure, so you might check for installation and versions there too.

Also, regarding security settings of the browser: What happens if you (temporarily) enable popups?

IE9 on Win7.

I'm not getting any notices about the website trying to spawn a pop-up.  I went and turned off the Pop-up blocker anyway.  It still fails to launch a video.  It is just refreshing the screen.

Flash is installed and enabled in IE.

However, at home (IE8 on Vista) it also failed to work, but when the webpage loaded, it gave me a Done with Errors message at the bottom.  I didn't get the exact error message, but it was something about error 8 and the Java Console.

OK, one update from my side:

On my machine (Win7, 64bit) it is working when running Firefox 29.

Using IE9, the link to the video seems to lead back to its page, no popup, nothing.

Point is, that my IE (since IE8) is obviously not 100% compatibel with Adobe Flash player. For instance, i have issues to play videos from YouTube on the machine using IE (error messages like Flash not installed or simply a blank screen instead of the video) but not for all videos there. With Firefox, i can view all videos from YouTube except the ones which are prohibited from YouTube due to national restrictions ("This video is forbidden in your country" or something like that).

So all in all, it seems to me that the issues you all observe are issues between the browsers and Flash, invalid settings for popup-blockers and specific "error handling" of specific browsers (which create the "loop-link-behavior").
