DeviceNet loop scan for instruments

Hello,

The black art of DeviceNet within Labview. Help !
I have a device that I need to scan to assertain the MacId, then if incorrect I then need to change the MacId to the correct one.
I am looking for something much the same as the Simple Who software that is supplied with Labview, but I need to get at the code and change stuff.
Anyone done anything like this, may have something of use ?

I have never built an application like this before, however, I did find this KnowledgeBase [link removed; article no longer available] on NI's website which seems to be describing what you are wanting to do. Once you have determined the MacID of the device, this tells you how to change the MacID. I hope this helps.
