Devices are "GREY" in MAX

Hi ALL

I have recently encountered  Database corruption error when launching MAX, I have upgraded and downgraded Device drivers but I encounter another problem where devices are Greyed out and cannot be renamed.I tried using database removal tool but did not succeed.

I am using LABVIEW 2014 with Windows XP OS.

Please see the attachment with relevant picture.

kind regards

hello,

Possibly this KB describes your problem. NI MAX Does Not Recognize Devices After Windows Completed an Update. Have you tried to go throw that steps?

Also, it's interesting to know what hardware are you using? And what are the installed drivers (it would be great to check the compatibility at first).

And just as additional information LV2014 is quite old and doesn't support many features.
