I am measuring some AC voltage signals at a rate of 5000 Hz using a 9239 module and I also want to simultaneously measure a some temperature signals using a 9211 thermocouple module. Both modules are in a cDAQ 9172 chassis. The 9211 thermocouple module is only capable of running at a pokey 2-4 Hz rate (which is OK with me) but when I added this task to my VI I get an error code of -50103 (DAQmx Start Task.vi:2<append> <B>Task Name: </B>_unnamedTask<5>). I think the problem is in trying to use the same AI clock, but at different rates. I tried running the TC module at the same 5000 Hz rate but got the same error code.
Can anyone point me to an example of how to run two analog input tasks but at different rates in a 9172 chassis?
