ok, did you get any error message? if yes, what was the error code?
How did you check that the Agilent device really send a digital signal?

There are no errors.
I copy the part of Vi response for agilent, then connect the output of agilent with oscilloscope. I attach a print screen of that pick i get from agilent

Tamara i have question. You said ...''Is it necessary for your application that the trigger comes from Agilent? Because it would also be possible to have a software triggered signal generation on RIGOL DG4000.''... the question is --> could I control this software trigger binary by button? When i push the button software trigger stars rigol trigger and wait on next button push (trigger) to send another signal.
Correct me if i'm wrong but to set every external trigger i need to send the TTL signal on that external trigger input?

I modified the vi so that the trigger signal has a certain duration and can be detected by RIGOL. By defaut I set it at 50 ms. So could you try it and tell me if it is better?
Regarding the software trigger, there is already an example that can help you understand how this works:
Help>Find Examples> Hardware Input and Output> Instrument Drivers> LabVIEW Plug and Play>RIGOL DG4000 Series Software Triggered Frequency Sweep.vi. So to my opinion, you can set a binary button to control such a trigger.

Pleas save it in 2010 format.

Unfortunatly it still doesnt working. Now I wonder whether I explained what it needs rightly.
I have agilent u2531A card, Labview 2010 and Rigol DC4062.
What i want, is to start sending burst signal from Rigol generator when he gets a external trigger from agilent card. I thought the digital output would be best but maybe not. I created Rigol control VI and now i need to create that external trigger from agilent and it should be controled by button. Atach a VI to control generator

ok, I have some other ideas to help you but before writting a new VI I would appreciate if you could send me a screenshot of the Agiletn output (as you did earlier) with the second version of the VI I sent you plus any feedback that you could get from the RIGOL device. Thank you.

When i start Vi there is an error:
'' Possible causes:
VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0037) The device reported an input protocol error during transmission. ''

ok, that's probably because the trigger time is too long. Did you try to change the 50 ms value into smaller ones? I did not check for correct value for your specific connection type.
