Disappearing #via_ignore labels

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

Whenever I want to automatically add a #via_ignore label to the block diagram by right-click context menu, it appears for a fraction of second and then disappears.

Video here:https://youtu.be/r6kgfKT2J-E

Eventually, I have to add all of them manually, which starts to be a bit annoying. Do you know what's the reason and how I can fix it?

Thanks!

I'm sorry but your video really doesn't show anything.

I see you pick the For Loop, right click menu, then click on something down near the bottom, but it is off screen so I have no idea what you did.

What is a "#via_ignore label"  and what are you trying to do?

This is likely due to a bug in the right-click framework that was fixed in LabVIEW 2020. If you want to manually apply the fix to your LabVIEW (assuming you're runing LabVIEW 2015 through 2019), you can follow the instructions here:

Darren,

Thanks a lot! That works.

RavensFan,

You're right, the video was incomplete. I fixed it 🙂https://youtu.be/NvGoLmpM_6o
