Display only the y-axis label in an XY graph

I want to display on the label on the y-axis but not the scale.

In the properties options, there are only two choices: display scale+label or dispaly scale only. I wish there is a way to display label only.

Is this possible? Or what's the easiest way to put something accurately on the label position?

Show the scale with only major tick marks, then color the major tick marks the same as the background. 😄

(There are probably some other ways to do this)
