Display selected name on graph placing mouse on the graph line

I have list of parameter names in list box. I have option to select multiple parameters to display the graph in deferent colors. But i need to display the slected parameter names for y axis. Can i display parameter name when user places the mouse pointer on colored line in graph? if not what is the best way to display those names dynamically for y axis? x axis is always time.
