Do i have to build exe for previous version, or is it already compatiple?
Hello,
I was just wondering if i should update my LV 8.20 -> 8.21, because i have developed an executable with 8.20 and now the customer is using it. If i update my development enviroment to 8.21 and do som bug fixing to my executable and rebuild it do i have to update the LV runtime version at the customer to version 8.21, or does it work with out updating the runtime, or is there a way to build the exe for previous version?

AFAIK, you ve upgrade the run-time engine at the customer place to the version of LV you re going to use to build the EXE.

There is NO way to build the EXE for a previous version, unlike for the saving of a VI.
