It sounds like you could gain some useful insight from some of the LabVIEW introduction courses. Part 6 deals with enums

We are not going to waste our time identifying every little LabVIEW programming element for you. Do the tutorials and read the LabVIEW Help and look over the examples.
To learn more about LabVIEW it is recommended that you go through the introduction material, tutorial(s), and other material in the NI Developer Zone's Learning Center which provides links to other materials and other tutorials. There are also several Technical Resources. You can also take the online courses for free.

heinnnnn !!!!!!
This is your fist post on this topic and the only think that you are to say is "take courses" !!!!!!
At worse you don't Intervene, is better ......

Given the questions you are asking, that's the only appropriate thing to say. You are asking such basic questions, like what the syntax for an "if" statement is in C. It is your responsibility to do some work and research upfront before you post. Taking the tutorials so you know a little about the language you are trying to program in is one of those responsibilities.

Saverio gave you a hint how to answer your own questions and not be dependent on us.
I view that post as a gift given freely and without string attached.
