Downconvert VI Requests

Is there any reason you want to take it back to 6.0 considering you have a whole slew of newer versions?

As S_Mercurio said, very few people have 6.1.  My oldest version is 7.1.

It might be best if you just opened it up in a version that you have and just code it from scratch in 6.0.

There is a problem with your VI that will cause problems for anyone who tries to help you.  You have it password protected!

Sorry about the password.  I thought I got it to 6.1 without having to enter the password, so I figured it was not needed to convert.

I will probably end up doing what you recommend.

Thanks

Please be patient. What you're asking for is not simple, and this board is primarily made up of volunteers, most of whom (like me) have full-time jobs.

Attached is in 7.0, but there are several issues:

  • The VI "S7Com_WRT_READ(subVI)" (why did they use "subVI" in the name???) uses a Feedback Node, which doesn't exist in 7.0.
  • The VI "S7_Optimize_Read_Array" used the conditional stop on the for loop, ,which doesn't exist in 7.0.
  • Projects or lvlibs did not exist in 7.0, so I created an "untitled" VI for each to place all VIs and controls in order to backsave.

Could someone please down convert the following Labview 8.5 files to Labview 8.2.1?     Or  let me know how to do it myself.

Thank you

Thanks for the quick response.  The only problem is that my Labview 8.2 only opens 1 of the files.  The following file I get a "memory or data structure corrupt" error.

Generalized FT Filter.vi

Hi Dan,

it opens fine for me - but I don't have IMAQ or VISION installed...

Best regards,

I really appreciate the response time of this forum!
