Hi!

Could anybody downconvert my Labview2009 data to Labview 7.0?

I have uploaded the file in hotfile, since i couldnt attach it in normal way because of the file size.

Link to data

Thanks in advance

Hi maam,

to reduce filesize you could use ZIP - atleast try to...

Then you should remove all those RubeGoldbergs (Comparing Booleans for Unequal to TRUE is the same as NOT!) and local variables (in the event structure you have old value" and "new value" terminals, the terminals of the booleans are unused...). Your upload is using LV2010 and not LV2009 as you said. And it is missing all subVIs...

I can only downconvert to LV8.0, it's attached...

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi saki,

did you asked your NI representative for a downconverted version of those "NI modbus VIs"? Don't you have the driver cd's that came with your LV7.0 installation?

Otherwise you have to wait for someone with LV7.1 still available nowadays...

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi Gerd W,

Thnx for your reply.....

But i could not get the drivers along with my cd installation. I downloaded the nimodbus driver and the version available with it are only 7.1, 7.2,8.5 and 8.6

how could i then open this in labview 7??

Thanks GerdW, I didnt notice the failure part in the blockdiagram, until you point it out. Smiley Happy

Sorry, i have attached the wrong version, and i already tried to compress it in zip format, but there is no significant size reduction, it is still bigger than the allowed size.

For version 2009, I believe there is an option to save the data in old version( version 8.6-8.0). So there is no problem to convert with version 8. This time i have uploaded the project in version 2009 alltogether with the SubVI.

Thanks again!

HI,

I am trying to execute the sample code from the NI.com using 1. Labview 8.5.1 & 2. smart camera NI-1762 from the link.

http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-9572, The link has all the downloadable files.

The project files are 1. AcquireVI_2009.png

                                       2.Smartcamera_LABVIEW.aliases

                                       3.SmartCamera_LABVIEW.lvlps

                                       4.Acquire.vi

                                       5.Smartcamera_LabVIEW.lvproj

SO ANYONE PLEASE COULD HELP ME OUT TO RUN THE PROJECT USING LABVIEW 8.5.1 AND THE SMARTCAMERA NI-1762 IN WINDOWS VISTA-X64.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks,

paleti.
