Downconvert VI Requests

If someone could downconvert the following, I'd appreciate it.  The group that gave it to me uses Labview 8.5, but I think the .vi itself is written in 8.0.  Unfortunately, I only have 7.1 available.

The drivers are available here if you need them:  http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.model_page?p_model_id=12187

Thanks for taking the time to help out a stranger!

Yep, I have the drivers.  The .vi that I attached can't be opened in 7.1, though ('...error code 9 ... VI version (8.0) is newer....')

Thanks!

Ran into a couple of issues:

  • The "TCP Get Data" subVI would not back-save. Probably some obscure LabVIEW 8.0 bug. So, you'll need to recreate it. Attacjed is a screenshot of the VI.
  • In LV 7.1 the Flatten/Unflatten functions did not have error clusters. The error cluster has been wired around there. The Unflatten function has an "err" output that you can use to check for errors.

Probably because you posted in this thread, and you're actually asking for an up-conversion, so the request should go here: Upconvert Requests Thread

I actually tried to do this, but ran into all sorts of problems. The project itself is messed up - everything in the project was pointing to non-existent VIs, and trying to repoint VIs to the library with a different name was an exercise in futility. Whoever created that project really messed it up. I would suggest you follow up with Keithley, as it seems that this is where it came from.

Can you please downconvert the following 8.6 file to 8.2.

Brilliant!  Thanks!

...unfortunately, it's now demanding the conversion of two sub .vi's that I wasn't aware of before.  Would you mind horribly converting these from 8.5 to 7.1?

Thanks again.
