Driver For USB camera Error

Hi,

i am using a USB camera and wish to write a VI to Grab Real Time Image. I used the sample Grab program provided by the IMAQ-USB camera manual.
I got this error that says camera not connected. But my camera works fine with Vision Assistant. Any idea what causes this error?

Hi eirrw,
Do you see your camera listed in the string array output of the IMAQ USB Enumerate Cameras VI? You can also use the USB Express Acquisition VI (if you have Vision Assistant 8.0 or greater) to bring in an image that way.

krispiekream,
I've personally used Creative USB Live! cameras with IMAQ for USB and they have worked fine.

VGA CD-ROM, can you give me the exact model of the Creative live Camera.
Can you give me the link of the camera? that would be better.
I found this.
I wonder if this is any good.

I used the Creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro at work and at hoem and they both worked. Technically speaking, any webcam which is accessed via DirectShow should work (this also means some consumer FireWire cameras can be used with IMAQ for USB if they use DirectShow). I imagine that Optia is DirectShow-compliant as well. What kind of configuration features and options you have with the camera are limited to what the manufacturer's driver provides for you.
