Driver for RD-31 and 33 by Radian Research Needed

What kind of read do you want?  Do you want to read how many pulses are output so far?  Do you want to read through an external instrument?

I would like to read 1 pulse every 10minutes via a Labview program that I made.

You meant you need to read total pulse accumulated once every 10 minutes, right?  I don't have access to that instrument anymore, but from what I remember, you can't read the total numbef of pulse acumulated.  You need to connect a digital input to the digital output of the Radian and count the pulses.

That s right, I want to read the total energy derived from the pulses. Thank you for letting me know that i might be wasting my time trying to do it like that

You could reset the accumulated metrics registers on the RD at the beginning of the test, and then read the accumulated metrics at the end of the test.

Hi Yik,

I am looking for a VI for the RD30

Actually I just posted the following in relation to the VIs on the instrument driver page..

http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Radian-Research-Driver-for-RD30/td-p/2285534

Do you think/know if the RD33 VI's wil work for the RD30? Other than changing things like the ID query search string...

Thanks & Regards,

Shane.

The RD-33 and RD-30 differ in accuracy only. The functionality is the same.
