Hello,
I have a 857 Redox flow cell test system from Scribner Associates. They have provided a software called FlowCell™ which helps to acquire data from the 857 hardware. I want to know if I can develop my own LabVIEW based software interfacing this 857 Redox flow cell test system and if there are drivers available for this?
I really hope it is possible!
Thanks

Hi Poduval,
the first place to check is the IDNet - but unfortunately I couldn't find anything related to "scribner"…
The next best place to look for is the manufacturer of your device: Scribner Associates!
- Did you ask them for drivers?
- Do they provide a (programming) manual?
- Do they provide information on their "Single USB communications interface"?
- Do they offer information on the communication protocol?

Thank you so much for the quick reply.
I had no idea about the Idnet, thank you.
Yes I have sent them a query, waiting for a reply.
Will keep you updated 🙂

Hi Poduval,
as GerdW mentioned the first place to look for is IDNet.
However if you need to develop your own driver -which might be quite a challenge- I would suggest you to consult this link:

Good luck,

Hello,
I got a reply from the company saying they do not have drivers for LabVIEW or any other development platform. Their hardware can be accessed only using their customized software.
So looks like we will have to look at different hardware options or just use the standard software.
Thanks for the help!
Cheers!!
