ELVIS functions

I am new to the ELVIS system.

I want to use the ELVIS functions provide in the ELVIS CD with Labview 7.1, but seems like some of the sub vi are missing.

And also I tried to run the introduction to ELVIS [link removed], the sub vi are missing also.

Did I miss any library need to be included?

ELVIS functions like DMM, Oscilloscope, Waveform generator etc works only if u r using them with ELVIS Hardware setup i.e. Workstation and prototype board. Let me know if u r using it with ELVIS H/W setup and even after that u r facing problems.

When I tried to run NI ELVIS.exe from the install CD, all functions work fine.

But when I tried to open the source code functions (function generator oscilloscope) using Labview, and it still says missing subVIs.

 I can't find those missing subVIs anywhere.

What subVIs is it asking for? If it is a simple driver or something I can point you to where you can download that. More information would be helpful. Thanks!

When I tried to run Function Generator funtion, it was searching for

NI ELVIS FGEN - initialize.vi

NI ELVIS FGEN - initialize(device).vi

NI ELVIS FGEN - update.vi

NI ELVIS FGEN - close.vi

Have you installed the elvis drivers.

I don't think they're on the cd in the back of the learning manual.

I tried to uninstall ELVIS 2.0 and install ELVIS 3.0, and it is working now.
