No I don't work for NI. Only the user with the Blue bars beneath the user name are NI employees. I'm sorry, but I don't really want to publish my email address here but, please feel free to post back with any technical questions you have. I personally haven't done bio-med in quite a few years so I can't help much with that but there are a lot of forum members with that sort of experience. There are a lot of forum members with extensive experience in generic data acquisition and it seems that is where you are stuck right now.

Hello SIr

Thank you very much for the valuable articles.

Sir i am mainly working on EMG signal acquisition. Although ECG signal are more or less similar but if there is a tutorial full on EMG signals, please provide me that one.

Also during my search on internet on EMG signal acqusition, i came acrss an articl in which i t is mentioned that there is a VI for EMG acqusition named"EMG Force.vi" from NI itself. Sir i am not able to find that in examples, sir please provide me that VI.

Actually the main problem with me is that, i created this forum late and now i have to complete my project in next week itself, so i am running short of time. Please sir i am heartly thankful to you if you provide that VI to me.

Thank you
Kapil Lohia

I am attaching the document where i read about the readymade EMG Force VI.
Pls look in section 3.1. that is my question.

Pls see the previous post for the document.

Hi kapillohia,

This VI that you are looking for is not created by National Instruments. It is not in the examples or in any of our training material. From the pdf that you linked, it seems that the VI is on the course site itself. You may find it there.

Hi kapillohia,

There are filters which you can use in LabVIEW. If you have the Full or Professional version of LabVIEW, you will have access to these Signal Processing VIs. You can find out more about the use of these filters in the LabVIEW help or in this article. You can also find information on processing the incoming signal in the article on using LabVIEW for ECG Analysis (I know they are slightly different, but the concepts hold).
