EXE built with Applications Builder working on one PC but not on another PC

Solved!

There're several possibilities why your EXE cannot access the custom scale from MAX. Without an error code it is quite hard to provide more help on this issue. Did you create a new scale or did you use the import/Export functionality of MAX?

I created a new scale and named it as it was named originally. This made the EXE run properly in one PC but not in the another. I also tried exporting this ( just created ) scale to the another PC but it did not help. I am now installing the same version of DAQmx to the problem-PC, though I don't no if it helps...

It now WORKS! Smiley Very Happy I imported EVERYTHING from the MAX of the PC that the EXE did run properly to the MAX of the other PC and that did the trick. (I don't no why to be honest...)

Thanks again for your help guys!

That's because your executable is trying to access the settings in MAX.  If it is looking for Device 1, you need to have Device 1 setup in MAX.  If there is no Device 1 in MAX, then the executable will have an error.

After thinking more about what really happened I can confirm that that's exactly what happened. It was about configuring the device.
