Editting the scale on a gauge

I'm using a gauge as an indicator for wind direction and another for speed. The speed gauge looks like this.I have rotated the scale so that the "0" and the "50" overlap. I want the "0" to be displayed, not the "50"I've tried editting the text labels with no luck. Any ideas. Thanks in advance for the help.

I am not sure is that the right way, but attached is what you asked.  In edit mode, i pasted "0" with white background over "50" and move "0" to the front.  I also have to move the needle to the front, so that it will look correct.

I ended up just changing the scale>style to show just the tick marks and added my own numbers. Thanks for the help.
