Elasped time in connection

Hi, everyone.

I would like to ask whether there are built-in function(s) in LabView for measuring the time of connection between one computer and another, i.e. elasped time during connection between computer A and computer B. If there is such function, could you show me the way to do this? Thanks a lot.

Everything is possible in LabVIEW. You have to give more information to know that.

What do you mean by connection between 2 computers? Post in detail and get more support.

I want to develop a subprogram for communicating between two ip addresses:

IP1: 192.168.1.100

IP2: 192.168.1.101

Assume IP1 is the server and IP2 is the viewer, then I want to set up a subprogram for knowing whether the connection is okay or not, but I don't know how to do it. Also, I want to display the elapsed time for the connection (which is varying, by performing actions like continuously pinging the receiver from the server). Can anyone show me the way for doing this? Thank you very much.
