I'am a little practical in LabVIEW, but not in this particular field: I need to measure the strain of a spacimen of tissue (tissue of 50 cm^2 used to make elastomeric orthosis) and my idea was to apply a strain gauge on the tissue and then using a DAQ and LabVIEW to measure the strain after stretching the tissue through a machine. I have never used DAQ so I don't know if is possibile to measure the strain of my tissue, or this kind of measurment is more referred to solid objects as steel bars etc. Is that possible? If it is possibile what kind of strain gauge I need and what DAQ I need to buy? What I have to insert in the Block Diagram?I have yet the LabVIEW software.
