Why would you expect LabVIEW users to be able to solve your CVI problem?Smiley Surprised

Well, looking at your post, already 55 people have read it. The post is there and clearly visible. 🙂 "Bumping" a post by making another post pointing to it, is not the right way, no matter where you place that post, especially since the original post is already in the right forum.

Imagine a forum where most posts point to other posts! We would have 10x more clutter and it would be hard to get to the core of things.

Maybe nobody has an answer? To diagnose a freeze, probably only NI can help. Plain users can only try to reproduce it.

The only valid way to "bump" a post would be to add additional information to the original thread with a second post. This will place it back on top of the list if threads are sorted by last activity. Even this should only be done within limits, e.g. after a day or so. 😉

The best way to entice interest in a post is to choose a concise title with good buzzwords, that is directly related to the post. "CVI mulithread problems" is relatively boring, maybe it also needs the words "computer freeze" and "fmt()"? 😉

In any case, a title of "Emergency HELP HELP" is relatively annoying, because it is to generic and does not raise interest (Similar to titles like "LabVIEW problem", "please help", "I'm stuck", "how do I do this?").

... back to coding 😄
