Enable OTD on NI 9213 TC card

I'm having a problem with thermocouple readings on NI 9213 (two separate systems; one is cRio base 9067, the other 9074).  When a thermocouple is unplugged or broken, it is reading zero.  This causes my heaters to turn on (setpoint is higher than reading) and overheat.

Obviously, this may be that the OTD (open thermocouple detection) is turned off.  So, the readings are zero volts = zero ºC.  With the OTD off, they are not getting pulled high.

I have looked in this forum, in user documentation, etc.  Nowhere have I found instructions on how to turn the OTD on or off.

If some knows how, or a link to instructions, I would totally appreciate the info.

If it matters, we are running LabView 2014, service pack 1.

According to the datasheet the OTD is ALWAYS enabled…

Do you use the AutoZero feature instead?

Mind to show your code?

How do you read the TC values?

Do you use the ScanEngine or your own FPGA code?

Do you have access to the FPGA using the LabVIEW FPGA module?

Best regards,
