Error 1316 during installation of LV run time engine 6.0.2

Hello,

When trying to install LV RTE 6.0.2 on my WIN 2K machine, I get the following error message: "Error 1316: A network error occured when trying to read from the file c:\tmp\lvrt.msi. Does anyone know what may be causing this? The same installation on another Win 2K machine worked fine!

I'm curious if this error is because you forgot to do a commonly neglected step in the installation process:
"If you have the LabVIEW Professional Development System or the LabVIEW Application Builder, then you must copy the LabVIEW 6.0.2 Run-Time Engine installer (the lvrt.msi file) from the 6_0_2RTE.zip file and copy it to the \applibs\installs directory. You must replace the file with the same name that already exists in that location. This will update the files that the LabVIEW Application Builder uses when it includes the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine as part of your executable."

If this step doesn't apply to you or if you have already completed it, then can you think of any significant differences between the computer where the install is successful and the computer where it is not? Significant differences would be NI software that is already installed, different installation methodology, etc.
