Hopefully with a little more information, we can get to the bottom of this. It is critical to follow the installation steps in the 'readme.txt' file that comes with the runtime engine. Some things to watch out for are found in that document.
Assuming that those instructions have been followed and the error is still happening, where is the error coming from? Is the installer generating this error or is Windows (or MAC, whatever your OS may be) throwing the error outside of the installer? Is there any additional text to the error? Have you had any issues installing other software on this system?
