Error 1935 occured during installation

I recently tried to install LabVIEW 7.0 Student Edition on my desktop PC (Compaq Presario S6000NX). During the install process, I received the following error message:

The NI LabVIEW 7.0 Student Edition installation has failed with the following error.

Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly
'Microsoft.MSXML2,processorArchitecture="x86",type="win32",version="4.1.0.0", publicKeyToken="6bd6b9abf345378f". Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80070002.

I rebooted the PC and tried again, to no avail. Same error. I then installed LabVIEW 7.0 Student Edition on my son's laptop (Dell Inspiron 1100) running the same processor (Celeron 2.39 MHZ) and the same OS (Windows XP SP1) as my desktop. Voila! No problems with the install. I didn't try to run LabVIEW on the laptop. I just wanted to see if it would install properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks in advance...

This error normally occurs if you have installed the .NET Framework 2.0 Beta, or Visual Studio 2005 Beta (which installs the Framework 2.0 Beta) before installing NI-VISA 3.2 with COM Support enabled.

Look here for handle this issue.

I´m not sure but I think this is fixed for VISA 3.3. Try to install VISA 3.3 separetley after LV installation.<
