Error #26: "Window.cpp" line 11518 with Labview version 6.1

Hi,
Labview crashes when I try to read data from a file and plot it to a graph. The number of points is 180000 and there are 8 such graphs.
Can someone tell me why is it crashing?

thanks,
Shiv

Hi Shiv,

It's difficult to say what could be causing this. It could be a bug. There is one thing I would like you to try and see if it sheds some light on the issue. Please download the evaluation version of LabVIEW 7.0 from http://www.ni.com/labview .

By doing this we should be able to figure out if this was a bug in this older version of LabVIEW and if it has been fixed in the latest version.

Please let me know how this goes.

I just received this same error # and line no. on my LV 6.1 as I was just reviewing data, not plotting any graphs, just reviewing sample file

Hi L. C. Lowe,

Looking through old service requests, it looks like this error could be caused by any number of different things, but they all seem to correspond to LabVIEW version 6.1.

I highly recommend that you try downloading and installing the 30-day trial of the latest version of LabVIEW (8.5) to see if you can reproduce the error-

LabVIEW 8.5 Evaluation Download for Data Acquisition Applications -

If you ARE able to reproduce the error in the current version of LabVIEW, let me know and I will investigate further.
