Hi, 

For a project, I am trying to play a song that is already in wav format. We keep getting the error "Error 4801 occurred at Sound File Info (refnum).vi->Sound File Read (DBL).vi->Project 1 foemal.vi"

I'm not sure how to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I looked at the error code 4801 shown here

and this one is listed as "Invalid sound task refnum. No sound driver is available for use, or the given GUID is not a valid DirectSound device ID."

There isn't too many things that can go wrong with the sound functions. Can you provide any additional information so I can narrow down the issue further?
