Error Code 1 when attempting to build an exe

Good Morning;

I have "inhearated" some code.  I am attempting to get it at least readable.  I know it has come a long way and still has quite a way to go.

when I attempt to buile an exe i get the following error:

Error 1 occurred at AB_Source_VI.lvclass:Close_Reference.vi -> AB_Build.lvclass:Save.vi

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW:  An input parameter is invalid. For example if the input is a path, the path might contain a character not allowed by the OS such as ? or @.
=========================
NI-488:  Command requires GPIB Controller to be Controller-In-Charge.

I have been looking at my close refreences and file saves.  I am drawing a blank....

I have found simillar posts, but nothing.....

Well shoot, no luck.  I even changed my destination to a new location.   Same thing.

I am digging through the build log now.

Thank You for the attempt!

I do not see anything in the build log.

After the last one in the list it just lists the error.

Unfortunately, i can't open the file to look at the code.  Does the VI run in developer mode, but won't build?

Well this makes the brain hurt.........after i could not  save a copy, I exited LabVIEW, restarted the tool, and away we go....it is working.......I have done this approx. 3 times since I have been werstleing with this one.

Thank everyone for the time spent looking at this silly thing.
