Solved!

Hi,

I still stuck in this issue. I uninstalled Labview (64-bit). Then install back Vision Development Module, but I still get the same error. Anyone please any idea?

Thank You

Did you only uninstall LabVIEW 64-bit?  Given my experience with LabVIEW installs and uninstalls (admittedly without ever having installed 64-bit LabVIEW), you would need to do your very best to uninstall all NI Software.  This includes all versions of LabVIEW, all Toolkits and Modules, all Drivers, and NIPM (if present).  You must uninstall NIPM last (if present), as it is required to safely uninstall the rest of LabVIEW.

If you mess up (as I have done, twice), there is a Fix for That as well -- reformat your C: drive, reinstall Windows, reinstall all of your other software (Office, browsers, utilities, etc.), then do a clean LabVIEW installation.  [Hint -- you don't want to have to do this ...].

Two suggestions on temporary measures you can try to do a "test installation" (I'd do this, myself, but I'm short the requisite hardware):

  • Find (or "borrow") a PC without LabVIEW.  Do a "fresh" installation of (only) LabVIEW 32-bit and see if it works.
  • Build a VM, install an OS, make a copy of it (so you can repeat as often as needed), then install LabVIEW on this "test system".  I'm actually running LabVIEW 2018 on such a VM (I was very nervous putting it "on top of" my LabVIEW 2016 setup, as it is safely running on one of the two PCs I "rebuilt" as noted in the previous paragraph), but am out of disk space for a second VM.

How did you "solve the problem"?  One feature of the LabVIEW Community is that we help each other.  We (tried) to help you, so now that you've found a solution, please help others by posting "the solution" and marking it as such (or, if one of us already posted "something that worked", mark the earlier post as the Solution).  That's the proper way to say "Thank you, guys".

Hi,

Sorry because not end this discussion in proper way. My mistake. By the way, what I figured out is I need to re-download the module/toolkits in Ni website. I cannot used the old installer (after I download, I save it in hard disk). Before this, I used the installer in my hard disk and I get the errors. So, I try download back the installer (modules/toolkits) and install it again. Its work for me.

Thank You
