Error While Creating Installer

Hi,
I am receiving the following error message while creating an installer.
I have added the following additional installers
1. NI Daqmx 8
2. NI Labview 8 RTE.
3. NI Max Version 4.
Kindly find the message in the attached file.
Any solution or have come across this before?

Are you able to build installer that do not include hardware drivers as well as NI MAX?. Often if you test run an installer on your computer that includes a driver, information will be written to the registry about the location of those installers. Occasionally this information gets referenced instead of the actual location and trying to uninstall and attach installers becomes very confusing since it is pointing to the installer build location instead of where the driver actually resides. A solution to that problem is to delete the registry key that referenced that faulty location. Please let me know what you find.

Hi,

Thanks for the support.

Actually i have solved this in the following method.

First I just searched for the CDK Engine FileExists.vi in the C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Labview 8.0 directory of my computer just using the windows search option ,then i opend the file CDK Engine FileExists.vi i.e. compiled the vi.

Then i removed the exsisting installer from the build specification and created new installer specification with all the additional installer present and it worked i.e. it is able to create the installer succesfully.

Thanks for the support once again.

regards,

Naru
